Even though anxiety and confidence are the main issues I specialise in, I also work on other emotional issues. If you have something blocking you or holding you back including trauma, then hypnotherapy can help.

It’s really important that you feel this approach is right for you. It’s also essential you are really ready to make the changes you want and to allow me to help you. Part of creating permanent change is a commitment and openness to change. In other words, it has to be the right time for you.

In our  clare@clareburgess.co.ukinitial phone call, we will discuss what your needs are. Through this call, you can make sure this is the right approach for you. We’ll talk for about 20 to 30 minutes about what you want to achieve and how I can help.

Many clients are surprised how useful this call is as the first step in their journey to overcoming their issues.

If you are new to hypnotherapy and NLP, I can also briefly introduce you to the core ideas which can help you before making a decision.

Wokingham and Reading Therapy Clinics

I see hypnotherapy clients in central Reading and in Wokingham for sessions which last between 60 to 90 minutes. Where appropriate, I can also offer Skype calls for follow up or confidence coaching.

Wokingham Therapy Clinic, 49 Denmark Street. This location is easy to find opposite Wokingham library.

 

What to expect in your first hypnotherapy session

I completely understand that it takes courage to come along to an initial hypnotherapy session.  I will spend time in our first meeting helping you feel at ease and explaining what how everything works. We’ll talk through your goals and agree together the most important areas to work on.

Using hypnotherapy, NLP and other techniques, we will start to introduce different ways you can start to feel better at your own pace. I also teach self-help tools for you to practice at home which can relax and calm you in moments.

Clients are often surprised how much we can achieve in this initial meeting.

Your first session will usually be around 90 minutes and sessions start at £95. Most clients gain what they need is 3 to 6 sessions.  In some cases, I would recommend a double breakthrough session for the first time we meet as we can accelerate the process of change in this time. This is especially the case for stopping smoking or specific upcoming events.

For Confident Childbirth Hypnobirthing clients, we would agree a personalized structure as I offer a flexible arrangement for each client.

 

More about the Cognitive Hypnotherapy approach

Hypnosis is a safe and natural way to explore what you want to achieve and re-programme the changes you want.

Cognitive Hypnotherapy is different to some traditional hypnotherapy approaches as we tailor each session to the individual clients’ needs. In Cognitive Hypnotherapy, we believe that trance is an everyday experience like daydreaming or using your imagination.

A key part of this work is focused on how your mind works and what’s right for you rather than following set scripts or focusing on ‘labels’. Relaxation and other useful skills are part of a tailored ‘toolkit’ you can gain from your sessions.
